Soldier Field Farther AwayThere is a tunnel underground leading into the stadium from a parking lot. We walked all the way around to the other side (by the field museum) to meet up with out CDW rep (Geoffrey) then walked around the whole stadium on the inside to get to our skybox. So basically you are seeing the backside of where we were sitting.

Diesel power in effectA sports article I wrote on the Wisconsin State Journal. That's right I actually wrote on it not in it. To really read it you'll need to click on it to blow it up to its huge size.

Caroline in Hard Drive SpindleThis is Caroline reflected by a hard drive spindle. The hard drive was trashed so we took it apart to see what it looked like. This is what I saw, Caroline!

Urbana Posters and Name TagsHere are my Urbana posters (except one). The bright orange one is a Winston original. Signed by the artist! The bottom one has all 20 posters from every Urbana. The right one is from 1996, it has the web address on it as http://www/ivcf.org. It seems odd now that anyone would mess up a URL, but in 1996 most people weren't on the internet yet.
The other cool thing is the name tags in the middle. In order to be more like Shane I started a name tag collection. Shane has 13, I have 9 so far.

Millennium TicketWhite Sands gave tickets to everyone to watch the last missile firing of the 1900's to everyone on base. Then when too many people wanted to come they decided to uninvite all the contractors. They asked us all for the tickets back. They didn't get mine. Exactly two years later (Dec. 17, 2001) I started working for InterVarsity.

Tornado in Stoughton, WITornado that hit Stoughton Wisconsin on August 18, 2005. Rated F3. Not for the faint of heart or those who would worry about loved ones who live in places there are tornados on occasion.

Secretary of State SewardThis is a totem pole of Secretary of State Seward. He is the guy resposible for Seward's folly, now known as Alaska. The didn't think it was a great purchase to buy Alaska, turns out Seward was right...very right. He visited Alaska and was given a potlatch (a Tlingit party). You are supposed to throw a party in return, but he didn't. When they realized that they made this totem of him. The white face is to symbolize shame.

Deep in the heart of the mine.Lurks...BEER! Alaskan Brewing Company (You must be 21 to enter) stores beer inside the mine to keep it at a certain temperature. There is some kind of special competition style beer in there. The only person that has a key is the brewmeister.
